Products


I want a product that is not on your website. Could you get it for me?
Not every product that we have available is on our website yet. However, we can get nearly every RV product that you will ever need. If you can provide a manufacturing number or a description of the product we will try to help you find it. Email us at info@makariosrv.com.


Am I going to be shipped a product that has already been used?
No. All of the products that we ship out are brand new. If it appears on our website, it is brand new!


What if there is not an image of the item?
If an image is not provided on the product page feel free to contact us at info@makariosrv.com to confirm that there is no image for the product.


I can’t find the item I ordered before. How do I locate it?
The easiest way to see previous items that you have purchased is by logging into your account. After logging in, click on “Completed Orders” and then “See Order Details”. On this screen you will see the exact products ordered and each product will be linked to their product page.


What is the difference between Colonial White and Polar White?
Polar white is an absolute white color. Colonial White has a bit of an off-white, yellowish shade to it.


What if I don’t see the color I am wanting?
If a product is sold in multiple colors, but you do not see the color that you want, it is likely that the color is not offered for that product. If you are sure that the product is available in a color that we do not offer, please email info@makariosrv.com and we will try to get it for you.

How do I use the Wish List feature to add products to a list that I can view later?

Ordering


Can I place an order over the phone?
Yes! If you do not feel comfortable ordering on the Internet, feel free to call us to place your order.


Do I have to pay extra if I order on the phone?
No. Absolutely no additional fees will be added to orders placed over the phone.


How can I check how much shipping will cost before I checkout?
After you have added products to your cart, hit the view cart button at the top of the page. You will be taken to the shopping cart and you will see a blue button saying “Estimate Shipping & Tax”. After putting in your state and zip code, hit the estimate button again and it will display the shipping costs for all methods available. Hit update shipping cost to see your order’s total cost.


When will my order ship?
Nearly all orders will be shipped within 24-48 hours unless otherwise stated in the product description. Orders are only shipped Monday-Friday.


Oops, I forgot something on my order. Can I add more items after my order has been placed?

If you forget to add something to your order, call us as soon as possible. Our orders get processed very quickly so that they can be shipped out as soon as possible; therefore it will need to be brought to our attention as soon as possible.

Where will my order ship from?
MakariosRV.com has MANY warehouses that we ship from all across the world. When deciding which warehouse to ship from we determine which is closest to you so that you can get your product as fast as possible.


What methods of shipping do you use?
We use UPS and FedEx for most of our orders. Both UPS and FedEx offer freight, 2nd day air, and next day air. Whether the order is sent UPS or FedEx depends on the warehouse used.


How can I track my order’s shipment?
Log into MakariosRV.com with the email used to make the order and select “View Order Status” then “See Order Details”. From here you can see the order status and if it has shipped, this page will provide a tracking number.


I just got my tracking number and the shipper says that it could not locate the package. Where is my shipment?
This is the error given when the shipping label has created but not yet received at the shipping company’s warehouse. You should be able to track your shipment within a few hours after being given the tracking number.


The site states “Free Shipping” why I am being charged shipping fees?
This happens when you have a product labeled free shipping and another product that doesn’t have free shipping in your cart. This does not mean that the free shipping product is being charged for shipping. You only pay shipping for the product that isn’t labeled free shipping.


What does it mean when it says 5-7 days or lists a number of days for shipping?
Some of our items such as Dometic awnings or Mor/Ryde cargo slide trays are actually cut and made to order. Other products that say this in the description may need to be drop shipped from the manufacturer who may ask for a few days lead time.


I receive a message “This item cannot be shipped”. Why?
This can be because of a few reasons. It may be because you have over 150 pounds worth of products in your cart. Another reason is that your zip code is not correct. Make sure that the zip code is accurate.


Returns


Can I return a product that I have purchased?
You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a refund. All Awnings and All Electronics are not returnable and will result in no refund.


How do I go about returning a product?
To return a product you must first log in to MakariosRV.com and go to Return Requests under My Account. If you have purchased from us before and received the product, you will see a return items button which you can use to create a return request.


Can I receive a store credit for my return?
The method of credit that you receive is your choice. Store Credit can be requested.


Will my charge card be refunded?
The method of credit that you receive is your choice. A credit card can be requested.


Why is there a restock fee?
There may be a restock fee for many reasons. The main reasons being: Repackaging, opened products, and labor.


Can I return an item that I opened?
Opened items may be returned but there will be a restocking fee of 15%.


Why are RV Awnings not returnable?
RV Awnings are not returnable because unlike most items, our RV Awnings are made to order and they cannot stay on shelves for long.


Why are Electronics not returnable?
This is a decision based on history of permitting returns on electronic supplies. Electronics are a fragile item that could be as simple as connecting a wire and reversing polarity which would result on a “bad or now damaged item”. We cannot perform tests on all electronic equipment returned and therefore state that all electronic items are non-returnable.


Manuals


Can I have a copy of a specific manual?
If you need a manual for specific instructions on how to use or install a product, feel free to include that in the comments in your order. If you have already ordered, email info@makariosrv.com and we will get a manual for you if possible.


I cannot open the manual emailed to me?
Manuals are sent in the PDF file format which opens in Adobe Acrobat.  You can download Adobe Acrobat at http://get.adobe.com/reader/.


Coupons


Can I have a coupon?
We announce coupon codes on our Facebook page and in our Newsletter. Like us on Facebook to see coupon codes when we post them, and sign up for the MakariosRV.com newsletter to receive coupons that we send out occasionally!


Where can I find a coupon?
Our coupons are given out through our Newsletter and on Facebook whenever we decide to have a special sale.


How often can I use a coupon?
Coupons may only be used once.


Are Coupons good on every item online?
Coupons are either item specific, or a discount on shipping. For example, we may run a sale on a specific product and the coupon will only work for that product. Shipping discount coupons may work on every product.


Checking the Status of an Order


How do I check the status of my order?
Log into MakariosRV.com with the email used to make the order and select “View Order Status” then “See Order Details”. From here you can see the order status and if it has shipped. This page will provide a tracking number.


Will I be notified when my order ships?
Yes. An email will be sent to the email you used for your order containing the tracking number(s).


What does “Awaiting Fulfillment” mean?
This status means that your order has not been processed yet. Our orders are processed very quickly and should not stay in this status for long.


What does “Pending” mean?
This status means that your payment has not yet been processed by the method used to check out: Credit Card, Google Checkout, or PayPal. Most orders that say pending will move into the awaiting fulfillment status within a short amount of time.


What does “Waiting for Shipment” mean?
This status means that your order has been processed but has not yet been given a tracking number. On most orders, a tracking number will be provided within 24 hours which changes the status to shipped.


Emails


Will I be notified of my order status?
You will receive an invoice right after you place your order and you will receive an email saying that your order has been shipped with a tracking number included.


Will you sell my email address?
No. We will never sell your email address. MakariosRV.com only uses your email address to update you on your order. We may email you if there is something that needs to be addressed about your order.


Why do you need my email address?
An email address is necessary in case there is something wrong with your order. We also use your email to update you on the status of your order and to give you an invoice.


I am not receiving email notifications. Why?
You may have possibly typed in your email address incorrectly. If you place an order and do not receive your invoice within 60 minutes, please email info@makariosrv.com with your correct email address and state your order total so that we can know what order to associate it with.


Passwords


Who will see my password?
The only person that will ever see your password is you.


Can I reset my password?
Yes. On the home page, select sign in at the top right of the screen. There is a link that says “Forgot your password” that will allow you to reset your password.


Why do you need a password?
Your password is used to keep your account and information secure. A password is required to log in so that only you can see your information.


Notifications or Confirmation


Will I receive an order confirmation?
Yes. An invoice will be sent to your email address right after you place an order.

Will I receive a newsletter?
You will only receive our email newsletter if you opt in to it during the order process, or manually sign up for it on our website or Facebook.


Do you mail a newsletter?
The MakariosRV.com Newsletter is not mailed out. It is sent to email addresses on our mailing list. Our newsletter contains a lot of information about RVs and Makarios RV news. You can subscribe to our newsletter by filling out this form.


How do I unsubscribe from the monthly newsletter?
In every newsletter that we send out, there is a link on the bottom to unsubscribe.
